Cancellation and Refund Policy

At B.R. Thanga Maligai (BRT DigiGold), customer satisfaction and financial transparency are of utmost importance. Please read our Cancellation and Refund Policy carefully before enrolling in any of our digital gold or jewellery savings plans.

1. Digital /Physical Gold & Silver Purchases

  • We have no return policy
  • No Cancellation After Purchase: Once a digital gold or silver purchase is confirmed and payment is processed, cancellation is not permitted as the transaction is executed based on real-time market prices.
  • No Refunds on Digital Gold Transactions: Refunds will not be provided for any digital gold or silver purchases. Customers may choose to redeem their balance in the form of certified jewellery or sell it at the current market rate.

2. Jewellery Savings Plans (Daily/Weekly/Monthly/One-Time)

  • Schemes Compliance: All jewellery savings plans operate under the applicable provisions of the chit Funds Act, 1982, and Tamil Nadu schemes Rules, ensuring transparency and protection for all subscribers.

Cancellation Request Window

  • Cancellation must be requested in writing within 7 days from the date of plan enrolment.
  • If approved, a nominal processing fee may apply.
  • After 7 days, cancellation is not permitted. The customer must complete the plan term to redeem accumulated benefits.

Refund Conditions

  • Refunds are processed and credited take 7–10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Any gold or silver value accrued will be adjusted as per prevailing market rates.

3. Jewellery Redemption

  • Once jewellery has been ordered or custom-made using accumulated savings or DigiGold balance, no cancellations or refunds are allowed.
  • Exchange may be allowed only if the item is defective, subject to verification and BIS quality check.

4. Failed Transactions or Technical Errors

  • In case of a failed transaction where the amount is deducted but not reflected in your account, the issue will be resolved within 5–7 working days after bank confirmation.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Gold Guidelines, Information Technology Act, 2000, and the chit Funds Act, 1982. Jurisdiction shall reside exclusively with the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
